ITC News, Updates, and Events for August
A Message from ITC – From Norma Osman
Events and challenges
When life hands us unexpected events and new challenges, we have the opportunity to choose if we are the teacher or the student. In most cases being the teacher is the harder road to travel. The next time you have the chance to experience a new challenge or an event, take time to step back and ask yourself” what is life teaching?”. Am I the teacher or the student? This will smooth the path and let the energy flow. Remember a challenge is only energy unable to flow. Keep flowing, growing and learning.
August 18 – 7pm Healing with John Fletcher

Inspirational Thought or Words
Unearthed by Bernette:
It is my charge to go deep
To unearth the shallows of the soul
Where men’s hearts await uncovering
Hidden in the great unknown
With darkened eyes and shuttered ears
The senses do not judge the truth
For in the trappings of vanity
There is blindness to the illusion of life
Yet as the breaking of the ground
As the rain that washes down
As the sun that speeds the soil
The seed gives birth to life
From perfect roots, within, it hides
Yielding itself to nature’s law
Stretching ever to break through
Reaching always to the light

The group will be examining a new subject each month. This is an interactive group in that those attending will be both teachers and students. We started in January by studying the metaphysical meaning of the Bible. In February and March we explored symbols and energy. In April we will be examining body energies, which will include eating for your body type, sugar in the body, herbs that work for better health, and stopping aging. In May the topic will be Spiritual tools and in June it will be Natal Charts. If you would like to join us, classes start at 7:00pm on Tuesday and are on a love offering basis. Come and Explore.
Due to a conflict in the schedule of the facilitator for the Expansion Group, the last meeting on May 16th will be postponed to the second Monday of June (June 13). Since February we have been studying Spiritual Laws and how to apply them in our lives. In the last class we’ll cover the last 3 chapters of the book “Twelve Spiritual Laws: The Truth that Will Transform Your Life”. Join us at 7:15 even if you haven’t been able to do the reading.
The Third Thursday of each month we will hold a healing class with John from Peak Potential for a FREE Healing class and demonstration of an INSTANT Healing Technique called the Midas Touch Instant Healing Technique. Our theme for the Month of May is Karma, or cause and effect, which is a blending with the law of compensation. That is, events are set up in previous times and are brought to you in an orderly sequence to be worked out. And, in turn, set up fresh causes. The important point to understand is that Karma is neither a reward or a punishment; it is a way of bringing you to just the right lesson at the right time, so you can take the next step in your life. Karma is a subject that influences all of our lives.
Join us at 11am Sundays to have a better understanding of this complicated subject.
Beginning Saturday May 7th and continuing through June, ITC will host Saturday Breathwork and Chanting.
“The Transformational Power of Rebirthing Breathwork” Immersions will be facilitated by
Ananda and Hampton. During each session we will discuss and process the spiritual and psychological aspects of our Being which either free us into our true nature or inhibit our natural bliss. We will learn about keeping our energy bodies cleansed as taught directly to Ananda and Hampton from Leonard Orr the father and founder of ReBirthing BreathWork. Some topics of conversations will be Self Love, Relationships – which are the big inhibitors to our Divine Nature. We will also discuss physical and emotional healing, living a high frequency lifestyle and healing addiction. A safe, supportive, sacred space will be created for us to share our insights and feelings. Love, and the love created by the group will be the healing force, as love brings up anything unlike itself for the purpose of healing.
Rebirthing Breathwork teaches that through working with the breath consciously that we are innocent, pure love and light and that our thoughts are creative!
BreathWork seminars like this have been known to take people light years ahead on their journey home to your innermost self. People who reconnect with their self through BreathWork find serenity, forgiveness, as well as unconditional love for themselves and all of creation.
Come learn this loving practice. Come and open your hearts. In this day and age we must create the sacred space of healing and listening for our souls.
Ananda is a Certified Rebirthing Breathwork Coach. Certified since 2006, she studies directly with Leonard Orr and organizes the One Year BreathWork Seminar in Atlanta for Leonard. Leonard Orr is the founder of ReBirthing BreathWork. Ananda has studied with Leonard for many years. She also received initiation from Babaji in India at his Ashram after completing her final studies with Sondra Ray, who is the Mother of Rebirthing BreathWork. Ananda began her career as a licensed massage therapist and energy worker in 2000. When she met her guru, the beloved Divine Mother Ammachi, in 1998 it was the moment she awakened to her own healing journey. She is dedicated to holding sacred, safe and loving space for others to heal their minds, bodies and souls, and remember their Divinity.
Hampton’s spiritual awakening is always happening. Five years ago he took a spiritual leap of faith as his life metaphorically hit rock bottom. As he processed the death of his father his physical, mental and emotional well being declined. Suffering from low self esteem and poor eating habits his weight went to over 250 pounds. Not knowing how to communicate his feelings in a healthy way Hampton generally felt out of touch. His awakening started when he got motivated to change his physical health. He switched to a mostly vegetarian lifestyle focusing primarily on eating fresh, organic whole foods and eating at least 50% of it in its raw form. Several incredible teachers motivated Hampton to start cleansing with fresh, organic raw juice and move to an almost exclusive raw food lifestyle. This choice allowed him to cleanse his body deeply on a cellular level and helped remove of all the waste and toxins. As he began to love himself and his body Hampton’s mental and emotional health began to come back into balance. He then poured more and more love and care into all aspects of his life. His passion for health and wellness led him to work at an organic juice bar where he met his love and divine partner Ananda.
This divine relationship and connection with Ananda brought Hampton’s spiritual journey to the next level – being initiated into breathwork by Leonard Orr, who is the founder of breathwork. Together, Ananda and Hampton, have cultivated a divine relationship by being mirrors for each other. Through breath work they find themselves digging deep into their souls, thereby healing years of suppressed trauma and negative thought patterns. It is by divine plan, that they have been brought together to teach others this transformational technique of conscious breathing.
It’s Spring! Take a look around you, the trees are blossoming, feel the warmth of the sun, listen to the birds sing, and notice how green the grass is on both sides of the fence. The earth does a wonderful job of maintaining balance. Did you ever consider that earthquakes or the mystery of a volcano are actually the means by which the earth balances itself and regulates its temperature? It’s a continual process that’s been happening for billions of years. Just like the earth, the body does a wonderful job of expressing itself; headaches, muscle and joint pain, and fatigue for starters.
I invite you to join The Explorers in April to examine our bodies’ energies. Whether you join the group or not do take time to align your body with nature, you’ll feel better.
This week I consider my being. The power within my being. The essence of my being. The resting and active states of my being. I realize that life has a natural rhythm. A natural ebb and a natural flow. We are a part of the force of nature. Everything is and so I cannot escape that. I could beat myself up about not getting to something because other responsibilities come up. I could feel bad it took me an extra two or three weeks to take a donation over to a charity I wanted to support. I could do that. But I won’t.
Instead, I can rest, knowing that the time I had, I used as best I could, doing the best I could. I didn’t squander it or waste it and while I may not have put everything I did at the top of my to do wish list, life has to get done and it happens. Just keep rolling and remember that even if you don’t feel like you are doing enough, as long as you keep doing and keep moving in the direction you are called to move and ever towards your truth, whether it is one step a day or ten, you are making progress. That is what counts.
Those steps, great or small, will keep you in alignment with who you are meant to be. Whether the step is sharing kindness with a stranger, a hug with a friend, learning a language so you can better relate to others, going back to school, finding a new job, or writing a book, all of these things can serve a purpose. Especially, when at the end of the day, our greatest purpose for being here is to learn love. We must learn to love and accept ourselves and when we do and realize the true essence of our being, we can’t help but love and accept everyone else.
